Kathleen Sebelius, the chairwoman emeritus of the Democratic Governors Association, met briefly with Vermont House Speaker Gaye Symington (D-Jericho) on Tuesday, as Symington, a Democratic candidate for the Green Mountain State’s governorship, consulted with staff of the DGA about her bid.

On meeting with Symington, Sebelius, told PolitickerVT.com: "I was very impressed with the work that Speaker Symington has done for the citizens of Vermont, and by her energy and enthusiasm about this race for governor. I look forward to working with my fellow Democratic governors to support the candidacy of Gaye Symington and also having her join our ranks in helping to bring about the change that Americans are looking for in 2008."

Who Cares ?

What good is it to say that someone from Kansas is impressed with a candidate that has done nothing but compromise Vermont away to inept governor. Next will have Hilary Clinton tell us how impressed she is with Gaye...

Sebelius may know Kansas, but Vermont is not Kansas...

Jim = Toast

Gaye Symington will be one of Vermont's great governors--it's excellent to see her leadership and capabilities endorsed by Governor Sebelius.

Just as America is dumping failed Republicans at the national level this November so Vermonters will take the broom to James H. Douglas and his incompetent, whining gang.

Why did Douglas appoint a green political hack like Neal Lunderville to head the critical Department of Transportation? Collapsing bridges is a high price for Vermonters to pay for a sleazy political favor.

No Fourth Term for Douglas!

I wonder if Sebelius could

I wonder if Sebelius could find vermont on a map. She doesn't know what Symington has done for Vermonters. Why would she when there's nothing to say on the subject. We got nothing from her for four years in leadership.

She should be... Gov.

She should be...

Gov. Sebelius is a rising star, and it takes one to know one. Symington will make a great governor and I'm glad to see that Sebelius agrees.
