Let the race for speaker begin

The Speaker has yet to make the decision to run but don’t tell some of the members that.  Donna Sweeney is seen by many as the front runner to fill the post.  Floyd Nease, the popular Assistant Majority Leader, is also eyeing the position, but will likely be blocked by Republicans, who will support any alternative to Nease.  The dark horse seems to be Carolyn Partridge.   The Windham representative is rumored to aspire to the position but lack either the crossover vote or core caucus support…  we will be watching because if the Nease v. Sweeney battle heats up, comprise candidates could very well float to the front.
