Pillsbury prepares for Windham Senate showdown with Shumlin, White

Progressives eye legislative races

With the current legislative session set to wrap up business in May, the Progressive Party is beginning to gear up for the fall’s legislative races.

Party executive director Morgan Daybell says that Progressives are eyeing about 24 legislative seats. In 2006 they participated in 18 races.

Progressives give Pollina unanimous endorsement

Gubernatorial candidate Anthony Pollina won the unanimous endorsement of the Progressive Party at the Party’s State Committee meeting Sunday in Montpelier.

The voting process consisted of a voice vote, says Progressive Party executive director Morgan Daybell.
